Yard Game Olympics 2024 - Rules
Bean Bag Bucketz
- First to 21 wins (can go over)
- Alternate throwers (team 1 p1, team 2 p1, team 1 p2, team 2 p2)
- Each player has 4 bags (8 per team)
- Points cancel out so only one team scores per round
- 1 point for any bag on the rim or any other location not in a basket
- Bags in baskets count for number on basket
- Last to score throws first
- In 4 point basket only, a player can adjust the bags to make room leaving other bags undisturbed
- 8 feet distance (360 degrees around)
BULZiBUCKET
- First to 21 wins (can go over)
- Teammates on opposite sides, alternate throws
- Throw from behind bucket
- Last team to score throws first
- Black bag thrown last for double points
- Top bucket 3 points, middle bucket 2 points, bottom bucket 1 point
- Points cancel
- Teammate can hack a missed throw in but cannot act as a backboard
- If you make any contact with bucket you get no points for that ball
- 15 feet distance
Cornhole
- first to 21 wins (can go over)
- on board is 1
- in hole is 3
- if the bag touches the grass at all it doesn't count and should be removed
- points cancel out so only one team scores per round
- alternate turns, last to score goes first
- 27 feet distance
- throw from behind front of box
KanJam
- first to exactly 21 wins, any points over 21 subtract
- hitting kan is worth 2 points
- hitting kan off a deflection is worth 1 point
- getting frisbee in kan off a deflection is worth 3 points
- only 1 hand allowed
- frisbee in kan with no touch is instant win
- alternate throws, throw from behind kan
- 50 feet distance
- rebuttal always allowed
- instant win can only be rebutted with another instant win
- tiebreaker is game to 11 with same rules
Ladder Golf
- first to get exactly 21 wins, if you go over you go back to 11 (don't go back to 11)
- top rung is 2
- middle rung is 3
- bottom rung is 1
- getting all of yours on gives you a bonus 1 point
- points cancel if they are on the same rung only
- bouncing doesn't count
- if a ball hangs from one rung below another rung you get both points
- alternate turns, last to score goes first
- 15 feet distance
- throw from behind ladder
Mashball
- Partners on same side, each throws one ball
- (Open only front 6 cups)
- Cover cups once a ball lands in it (Don't cover them)
- First to cover all cups wins (First to 6 points)
- Both balls in, extra turn
- Both balls in same cup, counts for 3 cups, you choose the other 2 cups (3 points)
- Measure distance with provided rope
- Throw from behind box
- Last to score throws first
- Opponent has rebuttal unless you got both balls in
- Rebuttal ends if turn ends without matching or getting balls back
Paddle Zlam
- First to exactly 21 (15) wins, any points over 21 (15) subtract
- Alternate serves (team 1 p1 to p2, then p2 to p1, then team 2 same thing)
- Serve must be from behind front of cone
- Paddle and/or body cannot contact cone during turn (forfeited turn if it happens)
- Direct hit from serve is 2 points
- Direct in top of cone is 3 point
- Direct into front center hole is instant win (no rebuttal)
- Deflected hit is 1 point
- Deflected into top of cone is 2 points
- Deflected into front center hole is 3 points
- Paddle pass must be called before serve
- Teammate deflects the ball up and server runs over to make play
- Paddle pass spike hit is 3 points
- Paddle pass spike into top of cone is 5 points
- Paddle pass spike into front center hole is a wipeout (opponent score reset to 0)
- Tie game at 21 results in a sudden death overtime round
- 25 feet distance
- Bounce outs still count if the ball hit the ground inside cone
- Rebuttal allowed if losing team went second
Polish Horseshoes
- first to 21 wins
- rebuttal always offered
- tiebreaker is game to 11
- alternate throws
- must catch if possible
- dropped frisbee gives other team 1 point
- dropped bottle gives other team 1 point
- hitting pole is worth 1 point
- hitting bottle is worth 2 points
- only allowed to use 1 hand
- 30 feet distance
QB54
- first to 54 (27) wins - must win by 2 or more points
- flip a coin, winner chooses to go first or second. team that goes first only gets 1 throw
- hit any part of the chair/upright on the fly is 3 points
- throw it into the basket is 6 points, then kick field goal from half distance for 1 extra point
- if ball bounces off the ground into the basket it's 2 points
- interception is 3 points if you catch a rebound before it hits the ground, throwing team gets 0 points
- teammates on opposite sides, each teammate throws then opponents both throw
- tiebreaker is first to 12 points
- if you catch a missed extra point with one hand you get 1 point
- hail mary - rebuttal for the losing team. Take as many steps as they are down points back from their goal and throws a hail mary. if it hits any part of the chair in the air and is not intercepted it forces a tiebreaker.

RampShot
- First to 15 (10) wins
- If both teams reach the winning score (or above) the team with the higher score wins
- If both teams are tied at the winning score (or above) play continues until one team has a higher score at the end of a round
- First team throws all balls then other team throws
- In net is 3 points (points still count if the ball bounces out of the net)
- Partner catches bounce off box is 1 point
- Opponent catches bounceback off ramp gives them extra ball for round
- Player catching the bounceback cannot go past the target ramp
- 15 feet distance
- Throw from behind box
- Balls are dead once they touch ground
Rollors
- Partners on opposite sides
- First to 21 wins (can go over)
- Must win by 2
- Disks must be rolled on edge like bowling
- Disks must touch the ground within 4 feet of roll (roll is ignored otherwise)
- All disks are rolled by one team, then the other team rolls
- Team with closest disk to goal earns all of their disk points within 5 feet of goal
- Disk on edge earns points for both sides
- Disk touching goal earns double points
- Last to score rolls first
- 25 feet distance
- Roll from behind goal
Spikeball
- First to 21 (15) wins (must win by 2)
- Rally scoring
- Server has to hit the net
- Can only hit the ball with 1 hand, or any body part
- Team has 3 hits to get it back to the net (alternate)
- Ball hitting ground is a point
- Ball hitting rim is a point
- Double bounce on net is a point
- Change servers after a lost point and alternate servers
- Team can call LET on unpredictable bounce only on server, 1 per point, serve again
- Serves must be below receivers raised hand
- Serve from 6+ feet away
Washer Toss
- first to 7 (5) wins
- in box is 1 point
- in hole is 3 points
- points cancel
- alternate turns
- bouncing from outside doesn't count
- 25 feet distance
- throw from behind box
